Brighter Futures For Kids helps children and young people cope with difficult feelings by offering a range of digital products designed to help them feel happier and more confident, and experience positive mental health.

It is run by award-winning child therapist, Frances Weston.

Brighter Futures for Kids is a division of Brighter Futures Personal Growth, a successful therapy and coaching practice run by Frances and based in Derbyshire in the UK.

About Frances

Frances has a wealth of experience working therapeutically with children and parents.

She has spent almost 30 years working in her own successful private practice seeing  children and young people. Alongside this, she worked in the NHS as a Highly Specialist Child Therapist within two Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) teams for 14 years.

She is known for incorporating innovative approaches such as animal assisted therapy, EFT, and Ecotherapy into the way she works with children. 

Awards

Frances was one of three finalists in the prestigious Inaugural Towergate Care Awards in the category ‘Creative Counselling Initiative’, recognising her innovative work with children and young people, having been shortlisted from 140 nominees in that category.

Qualifications and Training

She is also trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy); Solution Focused Brief Therapy; Family Therapy; Bereavement counselling; Telephone counselling; Motivational Interviewing Techniques; Ecotherapy; Groupwork with Children and Adolescents.
