How to Calm a Child Who is Having a Meltdown

Have you every tried to reason with an angry or anxious child, and then found yourself getting frustrated when they just wouldn't calm down?

Today I wanted to share some tips with you about what I call emotional re-setting. This is a process to help a child whose having really big, overwhelming feelings and perhaps experiencing a meltdown, to be able to release the angry or anxious energy safely and return to a state of calm.
